The Hot Wheels Alive ’55 is part of the Super Chromes series. The die-cast car is a 1976 release that was designed by Ira Gilford and produced in Hong Kong.
It is chrome decorated with yellow, blue, and green graphics. A Chevrolet logo and flames are emblazoned on the sides.
The station wagon has blue tinted windows, a black interior, and a metal base. The redline wheels are through-hole. Later releases can have black wall wheels.
Two versions of the car are available. It can have an opening hood or a hood that is cast shut.
