The Hot Wheels Alive ’55 is a reissue of the Classic Nomad. The die-cast car was a 1973 release that was designed by Ira Gilford. Production was in Hong Kong.
It is available in a variety of enamel colors. Features include a sunroof and an opening hood that reveals a detailed engine.
The station wagon has blue tinted windows, a white or brown interior, and “Alive ’55” on the base. The redline wheels are through-hole in the front and capped in the back.
The Classic Nomad and Alive ’55 only has a few differences. The Alive ’55 has enamel instead of Spectraflame paint, lacks painted taillights, and rounded protectors were added to the base next to the rear wheels.
