Baja Bruiser

The Hot Wheels Baja Bruiser is an off-road vehicle inspired by a Ford pickup truck. It features a protruding engine, roll-cage roof, tools in the bed, and “Mattel” on the tailgate.

The die-cast car was a 1974 release that was designed by Larry Wood. Production was in Hong Kong.

It is available in orange and yellow enamel, has a black interior, and an unpainted metal base. The redline wheels are usually through-hole, but capped wheels are possible.

Decorating the sides are red, white, and blue graphics with “5”, “Baja”, and logos for Firestone, Cragar, and Ford. Yellow Baja Bruisers can have red, white, and magenta graphics or red, white, and blue graphics.
