The Hot Wheels Heavy Chevy is based upon a 1967 Chevrolet Camaro. The die-cast car was a 1974 release that was designed by Ira Gilford and produced in Hong Kong.
It is available in yellow and light green enamel. Red and orange graphics with “7” decorate the sides. It has blue tinted windows, a black interior, and through-hole redline wheels.
The muscle car is a reissue of the Heavy Chevy from 1970 with some differences. The reissue has enamel instead of Spectraflame paint and is detailed with printed graphics. Rounded protectors were added to the base next to the rear wheels.
