King ‘Kuda

The Hot Wheels Club King ‘Kuda is based upon a modified Plymouth Barracuda. The die-cast car was a 1970 release that was designed by Ira Gilford. Production was in Hong Kong.

It is all chrome with double black stripes, painted taillights, and number graphics that can be between 1 and 9. The interior can be white or brown and it has capped redline wheels.

The club kit car was a mail-in promotion available on the back of blister cards. For $1 you received one of three possible chrome cars, a Hot Wheels water slide decal sheet, an iron-on patch, membership certificate, and a 1970 Hot Wheels Annual or the Hot Wheels Racing World magazine.
