Maserati Mistral

The Hot Wheels Maserati Mistral is based upon the vehicle of the same name. The grand tourer was produced from 1963 to 1970 and was named after a cold northerly wind of southern France.

The die-cast vehicle was a 1969 release that was designed by Ira Gilford. Production was in Hong Kong.

It is available in nine different Spectraflame colors. Each color can be found with a standard roof or a black painted roof.

It has blue tinted windows, an opening hood, and bearing redline wheels. Painted details include silver headlights and red taillights. The interior can be white or brown.

Included with the car was a collector’s button with a Mistral, yellow background, and a smooth tab.
