Mercedes-Benz C-111

The Hot Wheels Mercedes-Benz C-111 is based upon the Mercedes-Benz vehicle used to test new engine technologies. The die-cast car was a 1973 release that was designed by Larry Wood. Production was in Hong Kong.

It can be found in six different enamel colors, has a white or brown interior, and features working gull-wing doors. The redline wheels are through-hole in the front and capped in the back.

It is a reissue of the Mercedes-Benz C-111 from 1972 with a few differences. The reissue has enamel instead of Spectraflame paint, the base is no longer painted, and it lacks painted taillights. Rounded protectors were added to the base next to the rear wheels.
