Mercedes-Benz C-111

The Hot Wheels Mercedes-Benz C-111 is based upon the experimental automobiles produced by Mercedes-Benz. The C111’s were used to test Wankel engines, diesel engines, turbochargers, and other technologies.

The die-cast car was a 1972 release that was designed by Larry Wood. Production was in Hong Kong.

It can be found in quite a few Spectraflame colors and features working gull-wing doors. Details include blue tinted windows, a white or brown interior, a black painted base, and painted taillights. The redline wheels are capped.
