Monte Carlo Stocker

The Hot Wheels Monte Carlo Stocker is inspired by a Chevrolet Monte Carlo that has been modified for stock car racing. The die-cast car was a 1975 release that was designed by Larry Wood and produced in Hong Kong.

It can be found in yellow and lemon yellow enamel decorated with red, white, and blue graphics. “38” with logos for Champion, Chevrolet, and others are on the sides. The Hot Wheels logo is on the rear quarter panels.

Details include blue tinted windows, a black interior, and a chrome plastic base. The redline wheels are through-hole. Later releases can have black wall wheels.

The Monte Carlo Stocker was available on blister card and was included in the Thundershift 500 set.
