The Hot Wheels Paramedic is a van that is decorated as an ambulance. The die-cast vehicle was a 1977 release that was designed by Larry Wood and produced in Hong Kong.

It is yellow enamel with red and white stripes and graphics. A medical cross, “Paramedic”, a three-starred badge, and “Ambulance” are on the sides.

Details include tinted windows, a black interior, and a metal base. The redline wheels are through-hole. Later releases can have black wall wheels.

The van is a reissue of the Paramedic from 1975 with a couple of changes. The reissue is yellow instead of white, has different colored graphics, and has a metal instead of a plastic base.
