Police Cruiser

The Hot Wheels Police Cruiser is a based upon a modified 1970 Oldsmobile 442. It was a 1976 release that was designed by Larry Wood and produced in Hong Kong.

The die-cast car is white enamel with blue tinted windows and a black interior. On the roof are siren speakers and an emergency dome light that is usually blue but can be red. It has a plastic base and through-hole redline wheels.

Graphics with “State Police Law Enforcement” and a badge decorate the doors. “12” and “Radar” are also on the sides.

This is the third version of the police car and there are several changes from the 1974 Police Cruiser. It no longer has an opening hood and its base is plastic instead of metal. The emergency dome light can be blue or red. The previous version always had a red light.
