Snake Rear Engine Dragster

The Hot Wheels Snake Rear Engine Dragster is inspired by the cars driven by Don “The Snake” Prudhomme. Don Prudhomme along with his racing rival, Tom “The Mongoose” McEwen, were drag racers that were sponsored by Hot Wheels.

The die-cast car was a 1972 release that was designed by Larry Wood and produced in Hong Kong. It has yellow enamel paint and a black interior. The rear portion of the body can be raised to reveal the driver compartment and large engine.

It has capped redline wheels in the back. The front wheels can be black or clear with black paint.

Stickers decorate the dragster. Red stars, yellow & blue graphics, and “Don Prudhomme The Snake” are on the long slender part of the body. A Hot Wheels logo details the right side of the car.

Also included with the vehicle was a decal sheet that featured Goodyear, Wynn’s, and other logos.
