Tri-Baby

The Hot Wheels Tri-Baby is a 1970 release that is an original design by Larry Wood. The car features an opening rear hatch that reveals triple turbines.

The die-cast car is available in many Spectraflame colors. It has black painted louvers on the back and the redline wheels are capped.

Production was in the U.S. and Hong Kong. U.S. cars have clear windows, a white interior, and “U.S.A.” on the base. Hong Kong cars have blue tinted windows and “Hong Kong” on the base. The interior is usually brown, but white is possible.

Included with the vehicle was a collector’s button. The button can be plastic or metal with a smooth tab. Both versions feature a blue Tri-Baby on a pink background.
